About Squareshot

Squareshot is a fashion-oriented product photography service with studios in New York and Los Angeles. We provide an on-demand catalog, creative, and model photography for e-commerce businesses. Since 2017, we've worked with brands, such as Corkcicle, Knickerbocker, Farmacy Beauty, Brain Dead, The Outset (Scarlet Johansson), Bel-Air Athletics (Will Smith), and more.

Intro

As Squareshot is transitioning towards servicing more and more fashion & lifestyle brands, the importance of the brand is becoming undeniable. To support this brand-building process and increase our reach, we are looking for a Content Manager who will take part in strategizing, ideation, and execution of quality content in various mediums.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement content strategies and plans (inc. GTM).
  2. Build content briefs (inc. Squareshot magazine, newsletter, scenarios etc).
  3. Ensure timely delivery of content by managing calendars and schedules.
  4. Oversee content creation & quality (inc. editing, proofreading)
  5. Ensure brand consistency across platforms (creative/art direction).
  6. Analyze performance metrics and audience engagement.
  7. Build, distribute, and track newsletter performance.
  8. Generate creative and unique content ideas, topics, projects etc
  9. Source & onboard freelancers
  10. Publish best projects to Squareshot's portfolio.
  11. Produce podcast (ideation, scenarios, guests, team, oversee production)


Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role with a portfolio demonstrating previous successes.
  2. Hands-on experience creating content in any of the following verticals: graphic design, journalism/writing, and/or video production.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate both with in-house team members and external contributors.
  4. Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including social media trends, SEO practices, and analytics tools.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in audience growth and implementation of strategies.
  6. Fluent in written English. Excellent conversational English is a big plus.
  7. Interest in the content production industry and knowledge of the latest fashion trends is greatly welcomed.
